Carbon Dioxide equivalent (CO2e) is the internationally recognised measure of greenhouse gas emissions. It converts the six greenhouse gases covered by the Kyoto Protocol into carbon dioxide equivalents in order to reduce ambiguity over what gas is being referred to and in what amount.
